Responsibilities of the Landscaping Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Keep parking and landscaping areas clean, safe and attractive.

  • Efficiently manage all storage areas, shops, and mechanical areas in a clean, safe and secure manner.

  • Promptly respond to reports of guest problems or concerns, informs Front Desk/Chief Engineer when action is complete.

  • Perform job duties with minimal disruption to the guest.

  • Upholds the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and conduct in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

  • Responsible for clearing all trash, weeds, brush and debris from the resort grounds.

  • Responsible for watering all plants and flowers located on resort grounds.

  • Responsible for weeding, mulching and tree trimming whenever necessary or as directed. (This will require the use of equipment such as sheers, blade saw and other gardening tools.)

  • Responsible for the maintenance of plant life throughout the resort.

  • Cleans resort grounds and removes litter and trash on a daily and consistent basis.

  • Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all grounds keeping supplies used as part of the landscape technician role and ensures they are safe and in good working conditions.

  • Sweeps or blows all resort roadside entrances, walkways and resort back areas.

  • Performs daily walk-through of the resort grounds and identifies, reports as well as addresses areas with immediate grounds keeping needs.

  • Continually monitors all work areas for safety and sanitation.

  • Ensures clean and clear sidewalks and driveways as needed in order to maintain a safe environment for all associates and resort guests.

What are we looking for?

  • VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE STRONGLY PREFERRED
  • 2-3 years of experience in Landscaping.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail. 
  • Computer skills & knowledge to include, but are not limited to; Microsoft Office, email, and hospitality applications
