What will you be doing?

We are seeking a positive and motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiting Specialist! In this role, you will collaborate with managers to fill open positions, actively source candidates through various channels, coordinate recruitment events, conduct screenings, schedule interviews, manage applicant tracking, and assist with various human resources duties. This role offers $15.00 per hour, with a $20 incentive per successful hire that meets 30 days of employment.

Recruiting Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review applications and/or resumes for each of your assigned open positions.
  • Conduct telephone screenings for any qualified candidates.
  • Immediately set up interviews with the hiring managers for the candidates who passed the telephone screening.
  • Utilize applicant tracking to maintain candidate data (screening, interviewing, etc.)
  • Communicate with department (hiring) managers on a regular basis regarding open positions and their details, and create a strategy to fill each.
  • Post the open positions and source candidates through networking, job boards, associate referrals, social media, active applicants, college postings, and other venues.
  • Ensure job post details are accurate and complete.
  • Attend college, company, community, and property job fairs.
  • Communicate any deficiencies in the process or lags in response times to the Talent Acquisition Manager and General Manager for correction.
  • Prepare recruiting reports.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

What are we looking for?

  • Able to handle multiple assignments and projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Possesses high technical proficiency, including but not limited to: Microsoft or Google Office and social media sites.
  • Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to independently problem-solve.
  • Possesses strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Maintain proper business acumen and business professional attire/appearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively via email and phone with proper etiquette.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Passion for providing exceptional service to current and prospective team members.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Prior customer service, administrative, or human resources experience preferred.
